The, "Anti Euro," rod that is a Euro rod. Light, fast, and versatile. These blanks are designed by Gill and made in America. The rod is made for all types of fishing without compromising any. With custom carbon fiber grip and reel seat, it allows for increased sensitivity. Perfect for bigger Western river tight line nymphing. The matte black blank is American made. The blank is sanded and unfinished. This makes the rod very light. This rod will cast any rig, from jig streamers, to euro rigs, to dries. Speed Rods are all 10' feet long. Available in 4-6wt.
4wt, is the ultimate all around Euro Rod. Fast and light and can handle big fish. Half wells grip.
5wt, is Euro friendly, and streamer friendly, a true hybrid rod. Half wells, or full wells grip upon request.
6wt, a true jig streamer rod. Can handle 1/8 oz jig streamers with ease. Also, a good Nor Cal steelhead rod, tight line/ bobber rod. Half wells, or Full wells grip upon request.
New- 9,'4" 6wt. A custom blend rod that will throw streamers and big dries all day. A more traditional type rod, but still a Speed Rod.
All rods are hand made on the banks of the Truckee River in Hirschdale Ca.
