The Umpqua Squirmy Wormy Jig (Tungsten) is the ultimate modern version of the classic worm imitation, engineered for maximum effectiveness in deep or fast water. Anchored by a heavy tungsten bead and tied on a jig hook, this pattern sinks rapidly and rides hook-point up, drastically reducing snags on the bottom while increasing hook-up rates. Its signature squirmy material provides an irresistible, lifelike undulation that consistently triggers aggressive strikes, making it an essential fly for high or off-color water and Euro-nymphing rigs.
